Sally Peeters

R&D Administrator at DCM

The network of our R&D department is constantly evolving, which makes DCM an exciting work environment.

My career at DCM began in 2001 as an export assistant, a very exciting job that allowed me to discover a part of the world from behind my desk. In 2004, I left on a 7-month semi-world trip.  During my absence, our export department grew considerably and my job responsibilities changed; the focus being more on administrative support.

In 2016, I joint DCM’s R&D department where I have been working as a Management Assistant ever since. On the one hand, my job is to support our R&D Manager in the day-to-day management of her department and the various research groups. On the other hand, I'm in charge of managing various confidentiality and research contracts. In addition, I manage DCM's brand portfolio and take on the role of internal confidential adviser.

I really appreciate the versatility of my job. It is a pleasure to work with colleagues from different departments and entities within Group DC. Moreover, the network of our R&D department and the biotechnology sector in general are constantly evolving, which makes DCM an exciting work environment. Innovation and sustainability are of paramount importance here, with day-to-day collaboration across departments to put these values into practice.

A good dose of autonomy is expected. In return, you get a flexible employer and a team of colleagues you can always count on.
